Nine years is a long time, isn’t it? Over the last nine years, I’ve watched my little baby girl Caroline grow up into a confident fourth grader, then Kristina and I added twins Declan and Audrey, now exuberant first graders.
I moved from shooting sports photography to building a wedding photography business, then moved that business from Long Island to Lexington, Kentucky and back. I shot stills and I made films. I met countless brides and made friends who will last a lifetime. I went to the Philippines twice, the last time filming relief efforts after Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). It’s been an adventure I wouldn’t have missed for the world.
And yet, it has run its course.
I found myself restless again last year, wanting to redirect my energies into something different, something that I could be passionate about. I wanted to be part of a team that was bigger than just my own self, but also in a position that I still had ownership of.
So I laid down my cameras and my microphones.
Last year, I met with some people who had the same desire I did to build a business based on relationships. To sell something everyone needs but is intensely personal. Where my only limit was myself, but where I’d get the support and training I needed to succeed.
I’m happy to announce I’ve joined the team at Century 21 Dallow, a respected realty firm with over 63 years of experience selling homes throughout the Bellmore and Farmingdale markets. I’ve spent the last few months learning the business and familiarizing myself with their markets and also some towns that mean a lot to me, personally.
My goal is to provide a service. Helping people buy and sell homes is a part of that service, but it’s not the only thing. I’m here to be a resource for you. To help you keep track of how your home investment is doing. To help you position yourself to buy that first home. To help you figure out where to get the best return on your home improvement dollar. To give you the ammunition you need to fight an unfair property tax assessment– without having to pay some firm a third of what you save.
